# Openfloor for agents

You are reading this because a person asked you to set yourself up with Openfloor. Openfloor is a hosted MCP server for tokenized stocks on Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663). It gives you live Chainlink prices, every oracle update since 2026-07-01 as OHLC bars, a sandboxed backtester, Uniswap pool discovery and real quotes, and, with a free API key, paper trading. Nothing to install.

## 1. Install

Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http openfloor https://openfloor.trade/api/mcp

Cursor, Claude Desktop or any client that takes an MCP config:

    { "mcpServers": { "openfloor": { "url": "https://openfloor.trade/api/mcp" } } }

Any other client: Streamable HTTP at https://openfloor.trade/api/mcp.

Without a key the endpoint is anonymous and limited to 60 calls a minute. That is enough for prices, history, backtests and quotes.

## 2. Optional API key

If the person wants paper trading and a history of what you did, ask them to sign in with their wallet at https://openfloor.trade/account, create a key `of_...` and give it to you. Then add the server with the key:

claude mcp add --transport http openfloor https://openfloor.trade/api/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer of_..."

With a key you get `paper_order`, `paper_portfolio` and `paper_reset`, the paper book is kept in their account, and 500 calls a day are free.

## 3. First calls

1. `about` for the map of tools and caveats.
2. `list_assets` with `hasFeed: true` for the tokens that have history.
3. `market_status` and `get_price` before any decision.
4. `get_history` then `backtest` (preset or your own `onBar(ctx)` code).
5. `find_pools` and `quote` to check what a real size costs.
6. With a key: `paper_order` for a few days, then `paper_portfolio` to report the PnL.

## 4. Things to tell the person

- Token price = underlying share price x multiplier (ERC-8056). Dividends and splits move the multiplier, not balances.
- Feeds hold their last value on weekends and holidays while pools keep trading.
- Backtests fill at oracle prices. Use `quote` for the real execution price.
- Stock tokens are for eligible users outside the United States. This is tooling, not advice.
